Logging in and getting price estimates
When you log in you will see a map showing a selection of available trucks and their locations. At the top of the screen there is a pricing bar, which you can use to find the expected price for a load.

Select the type of trailer you need to carry your load from the drop-down list and the date that you want the load to be collected. Then identify the collection and delivery points by typing a place name or a postcode in the "from" and "to" boxes and selecting the places from the lookup list that best match your locations.

What is the "expected" price?
When you have selected a delivery location you will see a bar chart appear with an expected price for your load at the top.

We look at recent similar loads (the price blocks in the bar chart), adjust these for extra mileage, tolls or any recent change in freight rates and use an average to give the price. This normally gives a very good estimate of the price at which one of our hauliers will be able to transport your load.

Why do expected prices change from day to day?
You can move your mouse over any of the price blocks to see the underlying loads and the adjustments used to estimate the current price.

On any particular route you will see that there can be considerable price variation from day to day. Prices offered by a carrier depend on detour costs, how much they were paid for the previous load and how much they think they will be paid for the next load. We try to make sure that you see prices from the best hauliers for each of your loads.

How do I get an actual quote for my load?
Select the "available/new" screen by clicking on the tab at the top of the screen then click on the "add load" button to add your load.

When you have entered all of the load details, click on the button "submit load" and you will get the option to either advertise the load at a price of your choice (the default price is our estimated price) or to not show a price and wait for haulier responses.

Which ever option you choose, it usually takes at least 15 minutes for our hauliers to either accept your price or let us know what price they want to move the load - longer for hazardous or unusual loads.

How long will it take and how many quotes will I get?
If you advertise a realistic price for your load then it is likely to be taken quickly. If the price is low or you choose not to advertise a price then it may take a number of hours before a bid price that you find acceptable is made by one of our carriers.

You can check the collection and delivery status of your loads online. We take care of haulier payment and will invoice you ourselves.
